This 2nd floor studio unit (also the entry floor) is the perfect size for a romantic stay at the beach. This unit is the studio side of a 2 Bedroom Lockoff unit. For a little “retail therapy”, check out one of the two Tanger Outlets in the area, head over to the Coastal Grand Mall, take a walk around The Market Common, or wander into one of the many beach shops along Ocean Blvd. or King’s Hwy.
Take in a show or concert at the nearby House of Blues, Alabama Theater, or Carolina Opry. At Legends In Concert, you just might see Elvis! For some entertaining dining, you can watch a joust at Medieval Times or hang out with pirates at Pirate’s Voyage.
Broadway at the Beach is just about 5 miles from the condo, where you’ll find a premier shopping center filled with everything from amazing shops and live entertainment to zipline, helicopter, and jet boat excursions. Here you can enjoy a day of shopping, feed a stingray at the fantastic Ripley’s Aquarium, take the kids on a carnival ride at the Pavillion Nostalgia Park, or check out Wonder Works for some educational fun. If you’re hungry, enjoy one of the many restaurant selections, including the famous Hard Rock, Wahlburger’s, Dave & Buster’s, or Margaritaville. Q: How has COVID affected access to amenities?
A: The beach is open! Area restaurants are open for indoor seating, outdoor seating, delivery, and take out. THE POOLS AND WATER AMENITIES ARE ALSO OPEN! Availability and closures are subject to change without notice, and resort restaurants/bars/indoor non-water amenities may be limited or unavailable to private rental guests due to social distancing.
Q: 'Are there any hidden fees?'
A: NO - There are no required 'surprise' costs or resort fees. What you pay when you book is all you will pay for your stay.
Q: 'Can I Check-In Early?'
A: MAYBE – Our cleaners offer a very limited number of priority check-ins each day that would allow guests to arrive at noon. The cost is $50 and they must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. They are available on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to add this to your booking, please message us and we will provide additional instructions.
Q: 'Can I Check-Out Late?'
A: NO – Sorry, but due to the cleaning schedule, departure times cannot be changed.
Q: 'Are beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, or baby furniture included?'
A: NO - Due to damage/loss of these items in the past, the need to maximize storage space for guests, and the varied needs of guests, we do not provide these items. However, there are several great rental companies in the Myrtle Beach area. In Myrtle Beach, you can also rent chairs and umbrellas from the lifeguards on the beach during the summer season. In North Myrtle Beach, you can contact the city about renting chairs and umbrellas.
Q: 'Are bath towels and sheets included?'
A: YES – We provide sheets for the beds listed and also 1 bath towel and wash cloth per the occupancy of the property you rented. We do not allow bath towels to be taken to the beach, so please make arrangements for beach/pool towels.
Q: 'Is parking included?'
A: YES - Parking is free for TWO cars. You will receive TWO parking passed per unit rented, which is limited by the HOA. We receive limited numbers of parking passes and then we have to purchase them. Please don’t write on them and return them to the unit before you leave to avoid a replacement charge.
Q: 'Can I Pay for an Extra Parking Pass?'
A: NO – Sorry, but parking pass limits are set by the buildings due to the limited parking space available. However, in Myrtle Beach, you can contact the Pavillion Parking Garage that will allow you to park at most meters in the City of Myrtle Beach. The cost of a visitor meter pass is currently $30 per week (Spring 2022).
Q: 'Are there pool arm bands?'
A: MAYBE - Pool arm bands are only required during peak season. During this time, you should receive one band per person staying in the unit. Please be sure to provide an accurate count when booking or you may not be provided with enough. We receive limited numbers of pool bands and then we have to purchase them. Please return them to the unit before you leave to avoid a replacement charge.
Q: 'Do I have to clean/make the beds/do the laundry?'
A: NO - You are on vacation! However, we do ask that you treat the property with care so it stays nice for others & follow a few guidelines before you leave: Please empty the refrigerator, bag up your trash & take out any excess that won’t fit in the cans, and wash your dishes or load/run the dishwasher (if equipped) before you leave. We do not expect you to clean or do laundry before you check out, but we do ask that you tidy up after yourself with those few items that are not included in the cleaning fee.
Q: 'Do you allow pets?'
A: MAYBE - Currently, we can only allow dogs and ONLY with pre-approval prior to booking. General guidelines: Small dogs under 40lbs are allowed, must be at least 1 year old, current on all shots, and flea preventative. THIS PROPERTY HAS SPECIFIC BREED RESTRICTIONS, SO PLEASE GET YOUR PRIOR APPROVAL TO PREVENT BEING DENIED ACCESS TO THE BUILDING. These are HOA rules and on-site management has the authority to refuse your dog entry. There is a required pet fee of $75 per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per unit. IF YOU WANT TO BRING YOUR DOG, YOU MUST OBTAIN APPROVAL FROM THE HOST PRIOR TO BOOKING. Bookings that have not obtained approval will be subject to the same cancellation policies as any other bookings, as it is the guest's responsibility to obtain this permission. Guests who arrive with their pets without obtaining permission may not be allowed to check in. Sorry, but we cannot allow any other types of pets. Restricted breeds - Pitbull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepards, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chows, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinchers, Akitas, Wolf Hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, Belgian Malinois, Any Mix of the above breeds.
Q: 'Can I smoke in the unit or on the balcony?'
A: NO, sorry – SMOKING OF ANY KIND IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in this unit and on the balcony - no exceptions. It is very costly to have a service remove smoking odors - especially in the short time between guests. If we need to have the unit treated because of the smell of smoke or if we find that you have tampered with the smoke detectors to hide that smoking has occurred, it will result in a minimum $250 charge. Please be sure to read the entire rental agreement and house rules for more information about smoking.
Q: 'Are there pots/pans/dishes?'
A: YES - The kitchen is equipped with the basic items needed for cooking/eating. If there is some specialty small appliance you enjoy, please feel free to bring it along.
Q: 'Is/Are there food/condiments/coffee filters?'
A: NO - This is a self catering unit. While we will leave condiments and coffee filters in the cupboard that prior guests leave behind, we can’t guarantee that those things will be in the unit. Other types of food items left behind are disposed of at the checkout cleaning.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the extreme staffing shortage causing a crisis for the service industry in this area, it may be necessary for the cleaners to work well past the standard check-in time. Even though we never want guests to have to wait to check in, we are asking for your understanding during this difficult time.
PLEASE be patient with the cleaners and give them the time they need to make things right for your stay. They are doing their best and are working hard while many other people do not want to.
We also ask that you refrain from taking your belongings into a unit until it is clean and ready for you. If you can go grab a bite to eat, hang out at the pool, or relax on the beach for a little while, you can start your relaxation while giving the cleaners time to take care of things for you.
