PLEASE NOTE: Due to the extreme staffing shortage causing a crisis for the service industry in this area, it may be necessary for the cleaners to work well past the standard check-in time. Even though we never want guests to have to wait to check in, we are asking for your understanding during this difficult time.
PLEASE be patient with the cleaners and give them the time they need to make things right for your stay. They are doing their best and are working hard while many other people do not want to.
We also ask that you refrain from taking your belongings into a unit until it is clean and ready for you. If you can go grab a bite to eat, hang out at the pool, or relax on the beach for a little while, you can start your relaxation while giving the cleaners time to take care of things for you.
We know you want to start your vacation as soon as possible, and we want this for you, too. We are so honored that you would choose us to host your visit to our lovely beaches and want you to have a great time making memories while you are here.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS for this property:
Q: How has COVID affected access to amenities?
A: The beach is open! Area restaurants are open for indoor seating, outdoor seating, delivery, and take out. THE POOLS AND WATER AMENITIES ARE ALSO OPEN! Availability and closures are subject to change without notice.
Q: 'Are there any hidden fees?'
A: NO - There are no required 'surprise' costs or resort fees. What you pay when you book is all you will pay for your stay. We can facilitate beach chair/umbrella/beach towel/baby furniture rentals, which can be delivered prior to your arrival. Message us for more information.
Q: 'Can I Check-In Early?'
A: MAYBE – Our cleaners offer a very limited number of priority check-ins each day that would allow guests to arrive at noon. The cost is $50 and they must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. They are available on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to add this to your booking, please message us and we will provide additional instructions.
Q: 'Can I Check-Out Late?'
A: NO – Sorry, but due to the cleaning schedule, departure times cannot be changed.
Q: 'Are beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, or baby furniture included?'
A: NO - Due to damage/loss of these items in the past, the need to maximize storage space for guests, and the varied needs of guests, we do not provide these items. However, we can arrange reduced cost rental and to have a service deliver them prior to your stay. Please message us for more information.
Q: 'Do we have to bring bath towels and linens or rent them at an extra cost?'
A: NO - We don't like having to take bath towels and linens with us on vacation; and we really don't like deceptive pricing that requires us to rent things we NEED for sleeping for an added cost. So, we don't expect our guests to like those things either. BATH TOWELS AND LINENS ARE INCLUDED, and your departure cleaning fee includes laundering of those items.
Q: 'Is parking included?'
A: YES - Parking is free for ONE car. You will receive ONE parking pass per unit rented, which is limited by the HOA. We receive limited numbers of parking passes and then we have to purchase them. Please don’t write on it and return it to the unit before you leave to avoid a replacement charge.
Q: 'Can I Pay for an Extra Parking Pass?'
A: NO – Sorry, but parking pass limits are set by the buildings due to the limited parking space available. However, in Myrtle Beach, you can contact the Pavillion Parking Garage that will allow you to park at most meters in the City of Myrtle Beach. The cost of a visitor meter pass is currently $30 per week (Spring 2022).
Q: 'Are there pool arm bands?'
A: MAYBE - Pool arm bands are only required during peak season. During this time, you should receive one band per person staying in the unit. Please be sure to provide an accurate count when booking or you may not be provided with enough. We receive limited numbers of pool bands and then we have to purchase them. Please return them to the unit before you leave to avoid a replacement charge.
Q: 'Do I have to clean/make the beds/do the laundry?'
A: NO - You are on vacation! However, we do ask that you treat our property with care so it stays nice for others & follow a few guidelines before you leave: Please empty the refrigerator, bag up your trash, and wash your dishes or load/run the dishwasher before you leave. We don't expect you to clean or do laundry before you check out, but please be courteous by not leave a lot of trash or a huge mess for the cleaners. Remember that they often have a very small amount of time to clean before the next guests arrive.
Q: 'Do you allow pets?'
A: NO, sorry - Pets are not allowed at this resort per our HOA bylaws. However, we do currently rent 5 properties where we can accept small dogs. Contact us for more details.
Q: 'Can I smoke in the unit or on the balcony?'
A: NO, sorry - Smoking is strictly forbidden in this unit and on the balcony - no exceptions. It is very costly to have a service remove smoking odors - especially in the short time between guests. If we need to have the unit treated because of the smell of smoke, we will hold your entire security deposit to cover the cost.
Q: 'Are there pots/pans/dishes?'
A: YES - The kitchen is equipped with all of the basic items needed for cooking/eating. If there is some specialty small appliance you enjoy, please feel free to bring it along.
Q: 'Is/Are there food/condiments/coffee filters?'
A: NO - This is a self catering unit. While we will leave condiments and coffee filters in the cupboard that prior guests leave behind, we can’t guarantee that those things will be in the unit. Other types of food items left behind are disposed of at the checkout cleaning.
